What Skills are concidered resource gatherers? therefore illegal to Macro AFK?

It is illegal to gather resources afk. So its not necessarily skill based.

Mining
Lumberjacking
Fishing at sea
Collecting Wool

That is really about it.

out of curiosity .. what about Begging?

Begging brings in resources, so yes that is illegal.

Well then you gathered resources, totaling 100 gold.

yes .. but in that aspect .. fishin from land, you gather resources too
Fish and Boots .. .which you can sell to NPC's for more than 100 gold

100 gold an hour? You must be doing something wrong. You should be able to get at least 50 gold per NPC. (not in one attempt of course)

I had one during this time period on OSI. I recall getting 10 gold on my first attempt, and it went down after that point with the same NPC. Swap to new NPC. I have not had one on UOSA though, but it should be similar.

Ive only done a little begging here on 2nd age BUT the npc's only have like 50-60g on them and it takes hours for that to respawn. So after you beg the money off them your trying to beg for money they no longer have. I would assume the only way to make big bucks begging would be to make a macro that would beg the gold from all the npc in a crowded area(inside vesper bank maybe) then recall off to another crowded area(inside that moonglow reg shop with the recedu portal) This seems like something a gm might take issue with. But to just leave your guy begging offa the last target would prolly make you less money than killing one zombie.

I just downloaded the 2nd age, first time i have played it in oh..... 10 years i would guess maybe more, anyways, how bout hiding? i can just wedge a tooth pick in my f3 key to spam it to 100?
