UO Second Age

I'm back after taking a long break and while I was setting up a new house I discovered that you can no longer recall off of locked down boat keys. When did this change and why did it change? Or am I mistaken and this was never possible? Any info on this matter would be helpful, thanx.

I don't remember it being possible since I've played (or at least since I've had a house).

You can have boat keys in secured containers to recall off of them however.
