Not anymore since they drop on Liches i think it is.

They are dropping like hotcakes now...
I picked up three within a half hour hitting gazers and Lich Lords.

they seem different from the ones in the past. the new ones dropping on liches dont say anything, and the older ones speak you double click on them. maybe the older ones are still "semi" rare, or rare.. however you wanna look at it.

No they are not, they are fortune/speaking balls, you double click them and they give you responses, like a UO 8 ball.
Lichs = Glowing
Rare Spawn = Talking/Fortune
Trophys/CUB = Singing

Loot Ball=Marginal since there will be thousands within a few days it sounds like
Ask and Answer Ball=I've sold a number of them for 40k up until now, though obviously the piles of loot balls left on the ground around banks will probably affect prices, as many won't know or care that there is a difference
Singing Ball=600k-1 Mill, this is the holy grail of Crystal Balls, really nice item, people will walk back and forth in front of them for a good amount of time to hear all the different noises they make
