UO Second Age

Okay we know that there are several large rune libraries out there. How about all the little scarcely known places that have probably more strategic, lesser traveled, more personal touches to the marks that other players have made on their own?

If you have a small rune library a Brick,an L-shape, or smaller that is open to the public and you either want or wouldn't mind to be put on the road map of magic travelings post a shot of it here.

Maybe we can even make runebooks that can link all these lesser known libraries together in a collaborative effort.

No matter how humble it's nice to know of places to go to when you just want a change of scenery after a bit of traveling on the road, or to gate/recall somewhere inconspicuously.

If other people post I will mark their locations and put them in books for any larger libraries that want them.

Don't worry if its a bunch of randoms or disorganized...its somewhere to go, a place of interest while roaming the land. Mine doesn't have everything nor is it put together perfectly either.

There's a tiny library in my shop, on the second floor, right at the top of the stairs. Five runebooks, containing: Banks, Dungeon Entrances, Tanners, Fletchers, and Shipwrights. Those are the three suppliers I always had trouble finding.

Here's the JRC rune library. Books are:

Archery Shops
Docks
Banks (Roofs where applicable)
Reagent Shops
Graveyards + RIP

Britain is directly north, only a short sail (or stroll for the boatless) away.

Can you post a picture of it by taking a screenshot in razor? You can take a screenshot under misc. In hotkeys. You can fix it by cropping it, then to make it easier to find when you browse for it make a copy to your pictures under documents. Then all you need to do is add the file and then you'll have the option to place inline. Both options you'll find down below.

That is only if you want people to know where it is.

Also JRC Runes is now the first entry in the Lil'Rune Libraries compilation that I put where the ribcage of Revenge Santa used to be.

My setup is short and sweet, it is setup mostly for the New players. (Achtung Germans) The Vesper/Minoc Welcome Center.


We have all the Towns and Dungeon entrances as well as a few out of the way places of interest(UOSecondage museum) best part is i try to keep the books stocked with scrolls so new players can recall for free.

The vendor sells items geared for newer players: Bone armor pieces, cheap bandages(2gPer), cheap force weapons(Silver when available) etc. I throw my spare scrolls and misc treasure chest items in a chest left out and another chest is locked but pickable and filled with some Gold or sometimes semi rare item.

For all players i have black dyed cloth, colored sandles, orc masks etc. also whenever i have surplus resources they are placed on vendor at reasonable rates.
Located right between Vesper and Minoc.

So New Players come on down to the Vesper/Minoc Welcome Center... We'll leave the light on for ya'.

Okay I will be adding that too for the next entry. I have visited there before and you were nice enough to leave items that newer players may have been in need of.

This might be some good networking for you vendors out there so that people can make easy jumps for all their shopping needs and then to wherever they may need to go thereafter.
