Beginner Question

What is the easiest way to get gold? My regs have been stolen along with my instruments and I have only 31 gold so I cannot very well farm. Is there some other way of making gold without having to actually fight? Here is my skillset:

Evaluating Intelligence 10.2
Magery 50.0
Meditation 4.1
Musicianship 77.1
Provocation 15.7
Resisting Spells 49.0
Hiding 0.3

I don't want to have to create another character. I was of course planning on farming once I followed a guide on here. Well if anyone has some tips for me I would appreciate it, thanks.

A good way I found is to take the moongate to Yew. There are 3 animal pens there with a lot of sheep in each one. Killing the sheep is easy even with lack of combat skills, and will net you 3 wool per, which can easily equate to 1400 gold per trip with 100 str to carry 390 stones. If you actually KILL the sheep, not just shear them, they respawn quick enough to keep an assembly line going to get however much cash you'll need to macro. Man I hope I didn't just ruin my easiest gold source

*edit* also, read the Razor thread in the guides section to learn about the Restocking Agents. You shouldn't need to carry regs on you at all if you plan on macroing magery by a bank.

np, I'm currently training up a dexxer using this as well, since I need to spend some time killing animals for tactics/sword/anat skill, why not make some cash in the meantime :) So if you see Walter Sobcheck running around, never fear, just MARK IT A ZERO!

Welcome to Second Age Kiasta!

In addition to sheep, we also have escortable npcs in various locations around the world. Bringing them to their destination can be pretty easy and rewarding :)

Even though this has nothing to do with your current Skill arrangement, Crafing and gathering proffesions seems to do decent, if you can find a buyer that is. :D

After you get your roots placed well, Tamers make a good coin as do bards.
