UO Second Age

Hey I'm pretty new to this game although I think I am familiar with most of it after spending a good deal of time reading guides and such.
After getting my bard ready for action I've learned that I often can't do much alone so I am seeking help or just companionship to do random stuff together like maybe treasure hunting or something.
I keep getting pk'd whenever I start to make any character/loot progress so any help is appreciated.
