UO Second Age

hey guys I just found this server after missing UO for years now. I had no idea there were free player run shards our there. Anyway I played on Lake Superior from 99-02 my main guy was Vulrick the Grim if anyone may have run into me.
Are there any guilds out there who are willing to take in a renoob?

There has been a whole in my heart ever since i stopped playing this game that nothing has come close to filling

Same as my story. Started playing in 98 and played off and on until a couple months ago. Found UOSA just from looking at some old UO sites and articles.

Sorry, dont know about the guilds. I run solo.

If you go to the board index of these forums there is a guild subforum. Take a look in there. To my knowledge there are a handful of guilds that recruit new players.

honestly i googled looking for a free game similar to ultima online and this popped up.

Join IRC and talk with people, some might remember you, some will offer help.
Do not beg or else others will spit on you.

If you need some advice on the shard, read all the posts you can on the guides forum.
You will learn most about the shard there.

Also read patch notes.

I too stumbled on this shard's site, but I don't remember how I did! So glad though. I sort of feel like I "rediscovered" a favorite childhood game, which was "lost" after Renaissance expansion.
