UO Second Age

So I equipped a ring of invisibility with 1 charge left, and got the message: "This item is almost out of charges!"

I don't ever remember this. And it's actually not even correct, since the item WAS out of charges at the time. Anyone else remember/not remember this message?

I've seen the message come up every time theres only <5 or so charges.

Really? I just put on a ring of invisibility with 3 charges and got no message.

Related note, the item/armor is about to break message is NEA

Both of these issues may be out of era, but they were both in the game near era.

Definitely doesn't happen when it has 2 charges left either.

Only seems to happen when the item has 1 charge left, and only when you use it, so effectively the item is out of charges at the time you get this message.

My point was that without a patch note, we don't know when this was or was not in the game.

Yeah. My point is mainly that it's inaccurate in it's statement. It literally says "this item is almost out of charges" when it is actually, at that point, out of charges.
