UO Second Age

My Uo client has recently started to hog my resources like nobodies business anybody have any ideas as to why?

seems like it started after this recent patch to razor, yet that could just be coincidental

Razor didn't turn Smart CPU Reduction on after the patch did it?

thats what I first thought, but no.

I've noticed that after I've shut down and restarted the clients a few times it has disappeared, but then if I let my comp stay on for an extended period of time (a couple days) and have my clients running the entire time I'll noticed just at a running state (where I'm just sitting in my house or at the bank) my uo client(s) will be using 60-75% of my ram...I have 8 gigs so that seems a bit much for uo to be using as it probably only should need a few hundred megs to run :/

i have no clue what i'm doing and trying to figure it out as i go.. i'm gonna mess something up

Mess something up? Are you trying to do it from scratch? You know he also posted the fixed client to. Just place it in your UO Directory and your good to go.

gosh darnit...wasted 1.5 hours trying to figure that crap out the hard way

I started using this client and UO went from taking up approximately 50-55% of my PC's resources to 0-2% of my resources. This is an amazing fix. Would recommend.
