Not sure if this is a bug or not, but if you have one of the circle style bags in your pack, and you attempt to drop a halberd on it, it won't go in. If you open the bag and drop it in the opened bag, it works just fine.

You can also drop it straight on the bag if the bag is on the floor, just not if the bag is in your pack.

This seems like a client glitch. It is strange though, you can drop a halberd into a bag that is in the open, just not one that is contained.

This has always been an issue with specific items like a hally and long spear. If you take a look at the CUB publish in '99 they specifically mention this mechanism and tell you to place the item inside of a bag instead of the trash can since a trash barrel is a container item.
