A tank mage with tracking? Intriguing.

I had a red mace tank mage, and considered dropping Tactics in favor of Tracking. It was pretty rare that I did any real damage with my weapon; I focused mostly on spells and figured a lightning wand or gnarled staff, plus purple potions, would give me plenty of offense against someone running away.

You can take a little from some skills (90 med, 90 wrestle for instance) and add some track. I found 50 to be a solid number for quickly finding people in the areas that I frequent. Not to mention the almost 0 need for resist when you are equipped with 50 MR charges.
