Gold for regs to GM a mage

How much gold will you need to purchase regs to bring a mage from 0 magery GM? Of course I will not be starting from 0 since I will be buying it from a vendor? (even though I'd gain more intelligence gold is harder to get in T2A as opposed to the metropolis and other servers) And, what are relatively safe places to macro where they are usually not any thieves or murderers?

That's not what I'm asking. I already looked at that. It doesn't say how much I'll have to spend on regs to GM it.

edit: sorry I forgot I asked about macroing safely.

Well, that's too bad then, you can now blade spirit creatures to get money, without the possibility of the spell failing.

took me 25k from 50.0 to get to 100.0

went Lightning - 65.0 > E-bolt - 75.0 > Mana Vamp - 100.0(plus resist from 50.0 to 79.0)

Yes, use flamestrike. I tried to tell Alex that, but he refused to listen.

With lightning wouldn't you also have to have a high strength to avoid killing yourself, and cast greater heals when you get low? Which could also fail because that's a 4th circle spell, same as lightning, you don't want greater heal to fail when you need it, then lightning to succeed and fry yourself.
