Do you use one that you'd recomend?
I have rooms, but for some reason am not being able to set it up.

If you've got it jailbroken, install terminal and irssi or bitchx. they are commonly used IRC clients on Unix/Linux, text based. I use irssi on both my desktop and ipod touch.
