Magic Hat trick

im sure this has been revisited countless times here, but i cant find a definitive answer in the archives so.... does magic hat trick ( ie place magic hat on head, med for 7 secs, remove hat wait 2 secs, repeat) take you to gm meditation on this shard?

No it does not. It can get you to 50ish I believe, then you should drink wine and meditate.

With 100 int it will barely get you past 30, if that.
Just use the drunk meditate macro from the start, far more time efficient.

Also, since I think meditation is based on PERCENTAGE of mana, not absolute numbers... if you start your character with 10 intelligence, and lock intelligence so it doesn't gain as you gain meditation... you should be able to GM meditation off of the magic hat trick.
This is all just theory based on my understanding of the notes though. I've never tried it.

even with 10 int, you'd be at a minimum of 10/15 mana... 66%. I don't think it'd be possible to GM with that percentage, and even if you could, it's terribly inconvenient to start with 10 int. drunk meditation is so cheap and easy anyway, there's srsly no point in using any other method

on a side note, i would suggest not accessing anything like your bank while drunk.
if you are caught dragging something and *hic* you're stuck holding it.
if you open your bank while holding it you must drop it first
hehe no fun to find out with a stack of gold or something
but yea i used the booze macro the other day, works great.
just drink a bit then med like 5-8 times repeat
