Just say 'No' to cA Extortion! A message from the BPD

As many of you may know, the guild known as chumbucket and Associates (cA) are extortionists.
They hide behind silver lined words in order to use mafioso tactics on Britannian business people. Don't Be a Victim!
Here are a few thing you can do to prevent being taken advantage of:
If asked to pay a "fine" or "one-time business fee" Say NO. I have witnessed the use of cA tactics personally, often after a refusal a gate will be opened and entice/herding will be used to lure the animals into it.
If you are being asked to pay - consider moving locations as quickly as possible.
Check the cA member, using the stealing skill or forensics, to see if they are perma-grey. Proceed to kill.

It's a business proposition: You can let us move (and kill) your animals, you can constantly move them yourself thereby losing time and sales, or you can pay us a one time fee of 5000 gold which allows you to forever sell animals anywhere you like.
I believe that for most players the last option is easiest and cheapest.

Blatant police harassment; we're simply a syndicate of legitimate business people who are sick of the economy being damaged by dishonest traders and have decided to stand up for ourselves and our business.
I have consulted with my legal representative and I will be petitioning Lord British to eliminate this outrageous police corruption.

Shall we discuss the unwarranted un-hiding of innocents at the bank, exposing said innocents to the lowly bank thieves that you semi-control?!?!?!

It sounds like they are uncovering unscrupulous individuals who hide at the bank. Shouldn't that be the purview of the local authorities? If the local authorities aren't going to step up why become angry when these law abiding citizens attempt to help out. I for one do not want some shady character hiding next to me as I complete my business with the tellers!

I believe that it is more then "semi" control, it has been rumored that these so-called "police" are in fact in league with certain bank thieves and are revealing innocent passers by in order to allow their criminal underlings to steal from them. The officers then receive a cut of their proceeds and payments from these same thieves. What appears on the surface to be protecting citizens is actually a clever scheme to corner the market on bank theivery, and in reality a vast and corrupt criminal syndicate.

You must be referring to BPD.

I don't see the issue? Buy a permit, operate in peace. It's the smart thing to do.

I'm on cA's side. There must be regulation.

I agree. The BPD are fishy.

Just for the record, animal selling permits have been purchased by some sellers and cA has honored those permits. The sellers can stand at Britain bank with 60 animals if they want, untouched. If you're not one of these sellers, just think how much business you're losing running around avoiding cA while somebody else is merrily advertising to the crowd.
