I was just jailed for unattended resource gathering because I'm trying to train my fishing. What the hell is this crap? How am I supposed to macro fishing without "gathering"?

If my fishing were GM, that's one thing... But it isn't.

You may not gather resources or items unattended. This includes mining, lumberjacking, lockpicking in dungeons, cotton picking, and fishing in deep water.

Yep, I was at sea. I wasn't gathering any resources. And, couldn't i gather just as many resources on the shore as i could at sea?

Anyways, now my fisherman is perma jailed because i offended some gms ego. They decided to jail me to be a tough guy and feel like they have authority.

Gotta love gms like that.

The saddest thing about this situation is that, had I simply apologized to the GM, I'd be out of jail now and on my way.

The GM's shouldn't be THAT worried about players "giving them the respect they deserve". They should be professional and act according to the rules.

Anyways, you'll never see me here again. Like everyone keeps telling me, it's "just a game". I can put up with asshole players, but when GMs start having ego trips, no thank you. Have fun with your hobby, its a great thing and I hope everyone is happy to bow down to you and give you all the respect you never got as a kid.

No at sea you can gain other items when your skill is right .. this is in rules and redefined here ..

Don't get me wrong I'm sorry there has been an issue .. but I'm sure you will see that what ever GM it was.. was only acting on the stated rules as listed in our main webpage.

Well I know that if I was a GM, and I was volunteering for a free server, and I was disrespected for enforcing the rules, I would act accordingly.

hehe. Also, i noticed it looks like he doesn't have "UOSA Donor" next to his name even though he donated over 3000 dollars to the shard! That is injustice. Also, i know from getting a fisherman to GM, you fish up plenty of treasure maps on the way from 93 to 100 fishing, and those are definitely a valuable resource.
