UO Second Age

I cant find any further info about this. Is this a permanent spawn or is it related to the undead Nujelm attack.

Its my local bank and the orcs are a darn nuisance. Tried killing them off or trapping them in the gates but they are relentless!

They seem to spawn in hoards at the gate and then work there way up towards the bank.

Anyone know any more?

My guess that it's some sort of storyline element to explain why the Cove bank is eventually going away. But I could be wrong.

Shouldn't be a bank in Cove anyway.

It was established that some shards had a bank and some didn't at the discretions of the GMs of each particular shard in a forum thread.. Imo, a bank + orc threat is a good balance.

Lest we forget, era accuracy is important, but fluctuating events were also a part of the era as well as custom features.

I remember countless times I paged a counselor and GM to say that someone "stole" the Cove Banker.

The only good thing about Cove back then..., was the thief guildmaster is always easily found.

Cove bank attack is outta hand now, no banker and spawn has increased 10 fold. Even my shop outside gates is swarmed by orcs - not great for business.

Maybe there wasnt a bank, but I certainly dont remember this!

If the other bloodorc spawn was really popular or was worth farming then i guess that would be another reason, but...

I'm assuming this is a non event as there is currently an event ongoing at Nujelm.

Should I shut up shop now or is there more to come?

It's an event most likely. Didn't you get the message from Lord British?

It is an event, a very inconvenient event for Cove miners, too.

Unique events are era accurate, but I don't recall them being this disruptive on OSI.

Poor Cove. Seems like its always under attack from those pesky orcs.

The problem seems to be getting out of hand though. Checked it out earlier today and the spawn was decent and only the docks were on fire. Now though, the town is completely filled and the fire has spread to the bank!

Didn't notice anyone else around either.

No not constantly for weeks on end.

The spawn will die down after the event wraps up. Afterwards I'll be sure to check cove of the list for events for a while since they have been getting hit hard lately.
