Hi All,
New player considering 2nd Age. Do you allow small houses to be placed on top of towers here? That would be age-accurate but I don't know if ti's possible running RunUO.
Thanks!

p.s. I'll have more questions so I may just add them to this thread. Please check back even if the original topic is answered!

I've asked this many times before too, one player said that it's possible but that staff would remove it

There were houses on top of towers in era, but I don't belive they were still placeable there. Like tents, which existed for a short time in there era, but were never placeable withing the era.
If anyone manages to place a house illegally, unless it's on top of brit bank or the like, it's doubtful we'd remove it.

New question: what are the reasonable moneymakers? Barding? Is fishing for MiBs any good? Mining/lumberjacking?
Thanks,

Bards and tamers are the common PvM farming templates. Barding being the easiest/fastest to train up imo.
There are two people selling MIBs for ~5k a piece i think already. But they sell out very fast, could be good money here if you had a couple GM fisherman going at once i suppose.
Cartography is the absolute best money maker I'd say, level 4s and 5s have loads of good magic weapons/armor. Vanqs are rare here however. As are those level 5 tmaps.
Win events here. Trophies can be acquired from winning the pvp events here and sell for 3-4k a point(most are worth 1 point). Even new players have a shot at getting a trophy in the team games, as the entire winning team receives a trophy.
Non combative ways to make a nest egg:
Tailoring fancy shirts and selling them works okay i hear... but vendors will pay less and less for each batch sold.
I'm not sure how well ingots sell here myself as I use all mine. But there are often posts buying/selling bulk amounts on the boards here.
Bowcrafting is easy money if you don't mind chopping wood. Also, there are( seem to be) less people selling bows and xbows to npcs than fancy shirts. Another great thing is bowcraft can sell to bowyers (max value) and weaponsmiths / blacksmiths (slightly under max value); so there are plenty of vendors.
