UO Second Age

Greetings, everyone!

I'd like to say, so far, I've enjoyed every minute of my first few hours! I've already seen more people than the official shards, and already had one helpful conversation with another player! myUOSA is an EXCELLENT resource, the forums are well done, and there is lots of useful information. My hats off to the operators of this wonderful shard!

However, I would like to ask/suggest the following question:

Is there a guide or list of commands specific to this shard, and what they do (such as [publicchar)? It was sort of by luck that I came across that, and I saw no mention of such things in the FAQ. Did I just miss it?

Another question - Is the Wiki being actively updated, or is it more useful to search the site or forums?

Hi Thayn!Welcome to UOSA. Glad you're enjoying yourself so far!

For the commands you can enter [helpinfo in game and a gump will pop up displaying a list of most if not all commands available to you.

Forums and wiki are both good references when looking for information. However when looking in the forums make sure you look for the most recent thread on a particular topic. The wiki is continuously updated by the player base. We welcome anyone to add or edit the wiki as they find information.

Feel free to ask any other questions you might have, the community here is usualy very helpful

A small suggestion, if I may - If that command is not in the new player FAQ, perhaps it could be added to the sticky "The big FAQ Index" near the top? It certainly is a helpful command to know!

But of course, it could be common knowledge among Fresshard players, and noob players such as myself that don't know about it may be in the minority.
