Long post. Here's the basics:

Choose Advanced.
Health/Strength = HP. Strength increases melee weapon damage.
Intelligence = Mana. More mana means you can cast more spells successively.
Dexterity = Stamina. A higher dexterity makes you attack with weapons faster.
If somebody attacks or tries to steal from you in a town, type "guards" (without the quotations) and hit enter to summon a guard to save you and kill the offender. You will know if you're not protected by the guards any more if you leave town and a message at the bottom left says, "You are no longer in the protection of the town guards."
Right click to walk and run.
Double click to open doors.
Press Tab and then double click on people and monsters to attack them. You'll notice, when you put your cursor over somebody, whether they are Blue, Red or Grey.
Blue means innocent. Doing bad things to innocents in town will get you killed.
Grey means a criminal or somebody who is attacking you.
Red means a murderer.
Go to a bank and say the word "bank" near the building to open your secure bank box to store valuables.
Go to vendors and type "vendor buy" and "vendor sell" to do the respective things.
Press "Alt O" to check out the User Interface Options. You can add things like macros.
For example, people usually set the F1 key to make their character say "vendor buy bank guards". There's lots more.
Alt J opens your Journal, which is a recording of stuff that's been said recently.
Alt S opens your Status, which is your Health, Mana and Stamina.
Alt I opens your Backpack.
Alt R opens a little map of the surrounding area. Double click on it to make it bigger or smaller.
Alt P opens your Character Paperdoll, where you can equip items.
Razor is really easy to figure out. Just explore the tabs. If you want to make a macro, just go to "Macros", click "New", enter the name of the Macro you're going to record (like "Musicianship" or "Hiding"), click "Record" and then do whatever it is in the game that you want to make a macro for like using the skill Hiding. You can set the macro to repeat itself by clicking on "Loop". Some skills have a delay between uses. Like Hiding for instance. You have to wait at least 10 seconds after using the skill to use it again. To include a "10 second Pause", right click on the last action in the "Actions" menu for your Macro, go to "Special Constructs", click on "Insert Pause/Wait", click on "Pause for" and enter the number of milliseconds between uses. 10000 Milliseconds is 10 Seconds.
The skill Herding will increase your STR.
Meditation and Evaluate Intelligence increases your INT.
Snooping increases your DEX.
You can have up to 225 Stat points and 700 Skill points. I strongly recommend you maximize your Stats before venturing into the wilderness. You can do this while you're AFK or whatever.
If you want something easy (and kind of fun if you like watching things kill each other) to play that'll get you money real fast, I recommend these starting skills:
Musicianship - 1 (this will get you an instrument that you will be able to use even if you die because it is "newbied", which means nobody can ever steal it but only if it's on the top level of your backpack so don't put it in any pouches or whatever)
Resisting Spells - 50 (this will make spells do less damage)
Any other skill of your choice - 49
Go to any Stables and record a Macro for using the skill Musicianship and Provocation. Provocation will make two animals or monsters fight each other to the death but only if you stay nearby. You need Musicianship to use this skill. Again, feel free to Macro when you're asleep, off at work or whatever.
Send me a PM if you have any other questions and I'll be happy to help.
