When throwing a Purple Pot

Can other people immediately see the countdown start ticking? What if you start the timer when you are hidden, will someone know you are there? Or they won't know until it goes off? thanks

When you start your explo pot the other person immediately sees it, yes. If you are hidden and start a pot you will become un-hidden. The pot timer is a timer ANYONE can see anytime it is ticking.
