UO Second Age

When I log into my account, random characters names will be highlighted red on the selection screen. I thought that usually the last character you were logged into was the one highlighted red. Does this happen to anyone else?

I reckon the same person hacking your account to use your wand charges is also logging out on random characters as part of their elaborate griefing plot.

Seriously though, I've noticed this as well. Though I'm not sure why it matters.

If you dont use the "log out" button, sometimes the client files are not updated. It will then think you played a different character last time, ect.

That doesn't appear to be the case. I've tested this (using the Alt X and buttons on my PD) and I'm constantly logging in to find that my client thinking I've been on different characters.

Idk, it almost always comes up with the wrong default account name, and then wrong highlighted character whenever I log in. My wands are not missing any charges either.

The default character selected is the slot of the last character of the last account you logged into. So, if you logged into one account and selected the first character in the list, then logged into a second account and selected the second character, if you log out of both accounts, then relog into the first, the second character in the list will be selected even though you last used the first character in the list on that account. At least, that's what happens for me.
