7th skill needed for dexxer

I currently have

Fencing 100
Tactics 100
Anatomy 100
Healing 100
Magic Resist 100
Magery 100

I need a 7th skill for this guy and I want to PvP with him, any suggestions? Archery, Parry, or maybe something else?

I want him to be fairly good at PvP vs. tanks and dexxers so I just wanted to see if anyone might have some idea as to a 7th skill that may help his chances as a utility PvPer

Well parry is going to give you a good chance to hang in a fight against another dexxer, however, archery gives you a good first shot opener with a heavy x-bow (preferrably vanq) then close with a vanq weapon (poisoned of course...wink).

After those two I guess it could be hiding if you want to rest in between fights to bandage or wait for unsuspecting victims (you didn't say PK so I guess this one is not ideal)

I know some folks take stealing and like to nab others weapons or shields when they disarm to cast spells or drink pots.

Then there's Tracking or Detect Hidden, guess if you go PK or want to fight bank thieves these would be good choices

Poisoning is another one that you might add, costs a ton and really doesn't pay you back, as a cure potion takes care of any poison and poison really doesn't disrupt spells worth a shit. So the skinny on this skill is it takes a long time, costs a ton of gold and has a minimal impact in your PvP outcomes IMO. There are some that swear by it though.

So in closing I guess you have a few choices:

Parry-Good vs. other dexxers but bad when you have to chug pots (I like pots so I don't usually take this)
Archery-Good for an opener and in groups but otherwise it is a skill that gets used 25% of the time in PvP
Hiding-Everyone seems to have hiding, don't know why cause it really isn't a great PvP skill, but wtf do I know?
Stealing-If you can snag a weapon or shield it'll cause a headache or two, otherwise it's so-so IMO, not PvP worthy
Tracking-If you're gonna PK it's good, or avoid Pk's it's fairly decent too.
Detect Hidden-Good for pesky bank thieves but other than that it's not a great PvP skill, however, I really haven't tried it yet
Poisoning-Good for wearing down dexxers and making mages cast a cure once and awhile, I would normally use a mule but hey it's like poison on the fly, guess that's worth a nod for PvP at least, if you have the time and the gold for it.

Take Eval, and make your stats 100 str 75 dex 50 int

That or poisoning with 100 100 25

Eval, Meditation, Archery, Parry, are all terrible.

I don't see the point of Poisoning. I poison weapons with another character, and just carry a few of them with me.

Detect Hidden doesn't work very well, and purple potions can kind of accomplish the same thing.

Personally, I like Tracking the best. But you can make use of Hiding as well. Wrestling is pretty useful too, to help you in very sticky situations. Though I never tried it, it might be worth trying Stealing. In fact, that sounds like a ton of fun. If I were to make a new dexer, I'd try something like this:

GM Anatomy, Healing, Tactics, Fencing, Resist
60 Magery (never fail a recall)
40 Tracking (enough to find someone you know hid from you, walk up to them, and use a purple potion to reveal)
100 Stealing

If stealing doesn't prove useful or fun, I'd swap those last 140 points to 100 Tracking, 40 Hiding. All three of these skills are very easy to macro.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I don't think I have the gold or patience for poisoning and stealing sounds like it might be fun so I'm gonna get a good stealing macro together and give that a try. Everything else just seemed a little too narrow in their applications, I think stealing opens up alot of neat options for a dexxer.
