Razor playing rpv's

Anyone know why whenever i load an rpv in razor to watch, my screen starts to fade like normal and then gives me a critical error with the uo client and shuts down.
Anyone with any ideas?
I loaded razor/uo on my laptop and get the same problem. Dunno
Oh and this happens with any rpv, even ones i created

Very strange. Playing back RPV's has never crashed me.

Something is up with your .net 1.1 extentions installed in your operating system. Try uninstalling them from the control panel and redownload and install them from microsoft.com again.

I tried it and same problem :-/
i wonder if has anything to do with my version of UO. 6.0.9.1 (Patch 84).. too new? too old? i thought i was all updated now but no idea.

Aye. that's definatley what it is. There is a new packet format for those newest clients. The packets sent to the older clients won't work for playback to new clients.

Possible to revert to older versions with a patch or anything you know of derrick without reinstalling?

I am having the same issues. So mine at 6.0.9.2 (Patch 70) is too new right? Do you happen to have a link to an older version that will work? I really enjoy watching the videos and I want to see that new video of Humans vs. Orcs.

There is a significant difference between the 6.0.1.7 client and those that proceeded it in terms of the packets that are exchanged with the UO Server. Razor Packet Video is a simple recording of the exchanged network packets between the client and server when the recording is made, therefore the RPV's made with pre-6.0.7.1 clients will not play on post-6.0.7.1 clients and vice versa. There's no software currently available that will convert from one packet format to the other.

I looked around, but couldn't find it. I will happily reinstall, but I can't find the link to the older version of UO that would work with these videos. Any help is appreciated.
