there are 2 types of metal chests, one that looks very close to an ogre loot chest, one that has the metal linings, and then there is an ogre loot chest.

Change your server in mIRC.

Pirates and Solid have been giving me a few issues lately. Steeltown has been working fine though.

Here is a screenshot of the 2 different ones.
I have not fished up one with the brassbands on it latly only the one color ones.
(someone said they have fished up both)

ty for showing me the differences daelan, the ones i m selling have the gold colored lines on the edges. i have 4 to sell

um... seriously? i've fished up more than 10 of the 2 color metal chest and never the single color grey variety. Can you really fish up 2 types of metal chest?

It's a recent change. I've not fished up any of the gray trim ones yet either. Hope I get some soon, I actually like them

are the new ones a different image than ogre loot chests? or are they exactly the same?

i have no clue. i never knew two different shipwreck metal chests existed. It almost looks like he put an Ogre Loot chest in the bag with the gold band metal chest recovered from a shipwreck. Maybe not ?
