This item was given to characters with negative karma that logged in over the christmas holidays for the last 3 years. Also given to negative karma players who asked santa for a gift each year. It looks like a lump of shadow ore but named Lump of Coal.

Lets say you did smelt it. Are the ingots a different color than Shadow?
I would assume it's slightly darker.. is this the case?
If its the same as shadow, whats the point?

Hopefully it will be a slight shade darker than shadow
But 7.5 k per ingot is not worth a slightly darker shade
1.5k per ig is still excessive

It would be excessive if it spawned regularly.

no they dont smelt, but maybe ina year when importnat stuff is taken care of a patch may go in letting us smelt it!
