Something that we've been wanting to hold for a while, a pvp training event to go over the basics of field fighting and get some practice in for our members.
This will be (what I hope is) the first of many pvp sessions. However, it being our first, this may be the only one to go over the absolute basics of field pvp, explaining step by step the uses of basic gear, common strategies and the like. That being said, I would like as many of our members as possible to attend so that we can all go over the basics together.
What we'll be going over and doing...
Standard gear, including potions, pouches, and the like.
Razor and UO setup..effective ways to use said gear, methods for targetting, must have hotkeys.
A separate training for mages and dexxers, to learn specific tactics and strategies for your base class.
Actual practice. Group pvp to learn how to best work together in full sized battles.
This will be held on the live server so as to get a feel for using your actual character. Bring the character you need to learn the most on. If you typically are out on your bard, bring your bard...you won't benefit from bringing a char more designed for pvp if that is the char you are never on the field with.
All members should bring gm armor and wep of their choice (if used). Plenty of bandages and regs. Do not bring any magic gear or items. Everything else will be supplied.
As of now, our aim is to hold the session this Monday, June 7th, around 11 pm Est.
