UO Second Age

I cant seem to place a east facing oven anywhere that Ive tried in my tower. Haven't tried the roof But I don't want it there. Cant place anywhere on first floor. Ive tried blocking the areas off, placing the deeds on the ground and targeting the deed. Any help?

Derrick answered my question in-game. Apparently the chimney impedes movement of the floor above, thus making ovens only placeable on the roof of a tower.

But I have seen ovens on the first floor in other peoples homes. Only one direction works?

It may have been my tower lol, and yes you're right it can fit on the first floor and I bet I'm not the only person that has done it.

They can be placed on the first floor, you gotta put it by the stairs like in my screenshot.

No kidding good info, Wife wanted one on lower floor I put on roof never thought about the place by the stairs.
