Standing ont eh roof of my keep along the south lip

placing a comm crystal on the ground on the west most tile it has the light radius around it
if you place on the second tile the light radius is gone
on the third tile the light radius is back
on the fourth tile the light radius is gone

I havnt done much more looking in to it as of yet, just thought it was odd that the light from the comm crystal only shows up somtimes

can anyone confirm this happening to them in their client?

yea same thing happens on my client. if you try the very front of the keep right above the doors, the light only shows on the 4th and 5th tiles from the west side. none of the other tiles make it light up.

Applies to tower roofs as well.

found a few other odd balls with lighting, not comm crystal related
if oyu hold a lantern and run around the keep, the light goes out somtimes and then back on, if oyu put an object over top of a lantern and raise it up a whole bunch running back and fourth under it can cut the lighting out

whats causing this?

I can't say what causes it, but lighting is entirely client-side rendered, there's not much that can be done about it i'm afraid.

Heres a pic of another problem ive been having lately with lighting.

running around fixes it, its kinda the same as when that bald guy runs by and his head trails thing was happening

That is wierd indeed.

I think the bald head thing may have been related to a particular skin hue, I haven't heard of that problem for some time now
