UO Second Age

Do NPC's sell 'Mark' scrolls? I'm trying to make some of my own but it says I need to have the spell in my book first. I've just started playing (I played UO for about 6 months back in 2000) and was always a warrior, so magery and inscription is completely new to me. My character started with 50 magery and 50 inscription so any tips on how to proceed would be much appreciated.

Also, is there a player run mall in T2A? I remember Catskills had one or two that I'd visit for all my needs.

You'll need to either buy the mark scroll from a player, a player's vendor or kill a monster which randomly spawns them. Best thing to do is start a warrior and make some money off him then goto a mage or so on.

As for t2a, no housing is allowed there.

I never played Catskills, so I wouldn't know, but if you mean T2A as the shard, then yes, there are a couple of "Malls", most notably behind Yew bank and all the area towards the Moongate, and in the south-western tip of Moonglow Island. If you're referring to T2A as in the Lost Lands, then no, no housing in the Lost Lands.
