I'm curious to know what type of housing people like to "live" in the most. (and why)

For me, it's the two story. It's plenty of space to store my loot and have work areas for crafting. Maybe someday I'll desire to own a tower, but not in the near future.

I'm always curious to know why people prefer Large Bricks or Patios over L Shapes. You get more lockdowns and space with an L in just about the same footprint.

I went with Keep. Its large enough to have a sheep farm without worrying about people EQ'in your sheep to death and you can macro safely all day long.

Castle I didn't pick because everyone and their brother has a rune to the courtyards.

Patios are nice too. I fell in love with them from the patio in Paxlair on Chesapeake.

Can't argue with this reasoning!

castle living is the only way to say "I've made it big time in wizard games!"

To date, I have yet to see evidence of someone in my courtyard.

I like the old patio houses that came with addons in it, one was for blacksmithing and the other for tailoring. It was my first big house I ever placed myself on OSI. Lest fav has to be The old Tents.

I really like my L shape. I have a training room and a room for all my magics and such. I would like to get a tower though eventually I think.

My favorite house of all time though is a large marble patio.

Why the marble patio? It was a great vendor house!
The villa was also good too!

I was a smith and my house was right next to the mountains in the northern terrorities and so I had a large forge and anvil and didn't have to run into the house to work. I just dragged my stuff right on the porch and locked it down. I guess I could have used any house that had the porch though.

Towers because you have four floors of storage; its like owning four large bricks in one so you can have a dif decor or storage plan for each floor.

Sec place would be a keep for the grief-prevention, although the corners of a keep provide some shitty storage/safety. Before the decay patch went in, the inside walls of the keep were perfect for gating loot from one house to another.

Keep. I'd say castle just because it's the biggest, but I know if I bought one, everyone would already have a rune to the courtyard. I owned a castle on Gamers a while back but that wasn't an issue since housing was secure anyway.

I prefer the brick to the L-shape, just because you have more room to macro without being within 2 tiles of the walls.
