Couple questions...

Firstly, have MiB/T-Map gather rates been nerfed for fishing? I was under the impression it was roughly 5 an hour, give or take, RNG etc...I was out twice, once for two and a half hours, once for 3 hours (both chars GM fishing naturally, more than 16 tiles from anything). My combined total gather, one t-map. Five and a half hours, one map...

Secondly, I had two chars macroing this morning in a locked small house. Both on the "safe" tile in the middle. I woke up, both are dead with a report gump. The door was locked, one key on one of the chars, other in the bank. One was sparring an NPC, so I could potentially guess he got EQ'd and the NPC killed him at some point when he turned. The other char wasn't sparring though, so I'm confused as to what exactly happened. MS/CL shouldn't reach, and EQ shouldn't kill. I have a DH macro naturally, so I doubt someone stealthed in, unless I was just that tired. Shrug, just wanted to figure out what I was doing wrong.

Fishing for MiB's etc now brings up approximately 1 an hour, or so I've heard.

The murder gump makes me think someone snuck in, it's not possible to kill someone from outside if you're standing on the middle tile AFAIK.

Here's the odd part though, I went from like 80'ish to almost GM macing. So if someone stealthed in, they sat there for like at least 2 hours...then just killed me? Who's got that kind of time? *snicker* I dunno, the whole thing's really weird.

About fishing, that sucks...for era accuracy? Where's the evidence for that? I don't recall it being 1 MiB/1 T-Map? *shrug*

They probably earthquaked you while you were macing, and while earthquake cant kill you, it made your life so low, you maced yourself to death.

There is proof for the 1mib/hr thing in one of the 500 "why did you nerf fishing" threads, it was pretty definitive. I think the source was a stratics essay that had raw data for the amount of mib's pulled up in-era.

Neat little trick for a killer if NPC can get to the door.
Person outside house uses Peace.
Cast EQ pissing off the NPC at him.
EQ caster moves towards front of house.
NPC opens the door from inside the house.
Bad guy enters and kills NPC you and then if he can loots your house.
Bit harder but can be done witha 2 story and brick as well.
Ahh yes the sneaky old days.

npcs dont open locked doors from the inside

They used to, osi fixed it though. You could also get a dragon into "fly" mode, get him over the house, and then wait until he went back to walk, "all follow me" and he opens the door for you.

It's evident why osi fixed these bugs.
