i just wanted to know if it was possible to play from mac os
has a special client for mac ever existed ?

Never heard of anyone doing it, but you can get wine working on MacOS, then you could run a windows compatibility layer with UO.

Aye, I belive it's been done but you do need some form of Windows Emulator. There's no Mac UO client. I know at least a couple of our players use Linux.

An intel based mac with os x 10.5 comes with a program called bootcamp that allows you to install windows on a seperate partition. Then when in windows install uo and you are off to the races
