Crates height changing

the smallest craftable crate has a different z axis height depending which way it is facing on the ground

Very oddball.
It looks as if the oposite facings for the small crate in addition to a few other containers were an afterthought, as unlike the medium and large crate pairs, the small crates do not have sequential item id's. Also, one is labeled "small crate" while the other is labeled "crate"
The heights are indeed different, the earlier one having a height of 3 and the later a height of 2 as shown below in the item data (from client files)
PS: The snipping tool included with Win7 under accessories is pretty handy.
