Collecting bounties on players who did no damage

During T2A it did not matter if you killed a pk to collect bounty. I am quite certain this has been mentioned before.
I killed a red on r- who has a bounty. I tried to collect on blue alt, did not work.
I tried to entice guard out of guard zone to collect on r-, nope. Guards cant be enticed?
I gated in r- next to a guard, who is 300 shorts over into town to collect, did not work!! (I am "dread" status).
This should be an easy fix.

I just gained karma from ~-15k to -9k and the piece of gdafdsdfsad guard still wont let me have my scrilla.

We are using a mixture of the original bounty design with the t2a system and that is one of the original features, fortunately and unfortunately for some.

Derrick told me there is plenty of room for accuracy improvement on this issue, but there sure as hell is not much documentation on it?

That was the problem with implementing the bounty system, there were a lot of gaps in understanding of the era system when ours was being developed; as such what we have was created to be functional based on the information available.

Come on faust!
Why do npcs not engage with reds anyway? It seems like its a pick and choose scenario, I can train skills on a red and sometimes buy of npcs, but I cannot turn my head in for bounty.

Yeah, finding the information that murder counts didn't reset back to 5 sure helped my pks when they took stat... Being forced to cut one bandage at a time sure helped my dexer and hybrid characters. Helping Batlin decipher the original swing code that removes my hally swinging every 2 seconds will be lovely. What about ping pong aka perma red that was mentioned? Do you think taking the chance of dropping a random blue for the hell of it will be worth it after that is finally implemented? How about the accurate recast delay that went from a forced 0.5s to waiting 2.25s for a spell not to be fast casted?
