Strange House Problem`

As of a few days ago I have not been able to target my keys while inside the house at any location (small house) in order to lock it. The keys are on the front steps. It says that the target cannot be seen. What is this?

Ah ok. So is there any way around this by using a different setup? Any way I can walk up to my house without a key, openthe door somehow, walk inside, then lock the door while inside?

The way I have found to use a keyring lockdown outside is to:
Use keyring to unlock the door and open it
While the door is still open, use the keyring again to lock the door
Walk in and close the door
I know this seem like a pain, but I can not find another way.
