Killed IN MY TOWER!!

I just learned the hard way that I can be killed inside my tower. Top floor and bottom floor for sure. Lord Hilik came by and cast meteor on me from OUTSIDE the tower. I was in the backroom on the first floor. I ran to the front room and he hit me again. I hid, he revealed me. I ran up to the roof, he attacked me there too, in the center of the roof. ON A TOWER'S ROOF! FROM THE GROUND!
So maybe you all know about this but it was news to me.
What is the safest house type between L shape, Brick, or Tower?
Is this an era accurate bug? It really sucks.
I did happen to record the last 10 seconds of life of my character. It's hard to tell what happened from the rpv though.

So meteor is SUPPOSED to go through walls?
Does it go through all walls?
Is there a home security thread that includes this information?
Perhaps with a map of house tiles that are safe/unsafe from outside attack?

EQ has a range of 8 tiles, MS has a range of 2.
Yes it is suppose to go through walls.

It was way more than 2 tiles for the meteor strike....

Bug report.
Please keep the trash talk somewhere where people might care.
This seems really messed up to me. Did the last patch make this possible? I've never seen it before.

Its not a bug. No cheating occured. It wasn't more than two tiles. Check my sig.

Ok i watched the rpv a few times and i did step within 2 tiles of him for a split second, which is when he release the meteor...
Does this work through large brick walls?
I may have to downgrade.....
