How does dex affect my chance to steal or does it? If I had 100 str 100 int and 25 dex would I have a less chance of stealing successfully than someone with 100 dex? or does it have anything to do with whether I get noticed or not?

I would like to know the answer myself. Also I'm looking for the guildmaster if someone knows where he is or hes name, let me know.

There is a thieves guild master native to the southern tavern old brittain (the portion east of the river). From the bank head east till you cross any of the bridges linking new and old brittain. Immediately after you cross the river, head directly south you cant miss it.

The theif guildmaster usually hangs in the bar east of west brit bank a few buildings. Its down by the river.

Is his name Bilbo Baggins like on test?

Dex just modifies the stealing skill to it's shown value. At gm it makes no difference really.

The thief guildmaster won't be called Bilbo Baggins. I checked the Inn in Brit now and she is called Raquel, this may change from time to time

Just look for the Kryss (maybe a dagger sometimes), that's the thieves guildmaster.

The current thief guildmaster is Matron de Winter

Ok, that doesn't make much sense though. A thief with 100 dex should have a better chance to steal unnoticed than a thief with 25 dex but if thats the way it is so be it.
