Why would this be changed? You all seem to want to keep this as "era accurate" as possible and this is not accurate in any means of the word.


If a monster can aggro on me through walls, then I see no problem with them being able to cast spells through walls, or visa versa....

Why the hell would this even be put into place?

Other then this retarded option put in place, I think the latest patch was pretty good.. But whoever thought of this idea should start slamming there head against a wall until they're as brain dead as this idea.... Thanks.

because there has been some evidence come to light that it was the case. you could look around the forum for a few minutes and see there is already numerous posts about this. i don't remember it either but it is hard to argue with some of the pics.

Hmm, I don't remember that either, and I played back in '97. If that is the case however, they should of left Teleporting the way it was. I know that being able to teleport into a castle or keep is considered a "Bug" and was fixed for that reason, I would consider ANYTHING not following the rules of LoS a bug and should be treated and fixed as one.

Also, Ev's and I assume other Summoned creatures don't follow this LoS "Fix" you guys put in place... I would think everything would follow the SAME LoS rules...

all i saw for evidence was one picture of a bunch of spawn around a house and tent.... but if you notice that one mob is an ogre lord, obviously would have to be from a tmap.. which would have been dragged over to the house for the screenshot cuz someone was bored.

i dont remember this being the way it was, but it sure was a long time ago

all creatures follow the same LOS rules for aggression.

There's plenty of other threads on this. Making a new one and calling it retarded in the face of other evidence is not productive.
