Now second question: How do you gain dex on an animal if all they can do is wrestle?

From the way players skills go up I would assume not.

Do you gain dex on pets here? Apparently things only wrestle here so how do pets gain dex?

Doesn't wrestling have some chance to raise dex? Or tactics perhaps?

I know for sure it did after T2A, as pets could get up to 125 dex from training wrestling, tactics, and anatomy.

Wrestling does not train dex.

I am here to ask this same question, will training only increase an animals hps?

i think it does not gain here at all b/c later when they introduced a gump for animal lore where people could see animal stats, they would run around searching for a dragon with perfect stats (esp. dex and int) to tame. why would they do that if stats were gainable? good question. afaik, you can only gain skills here. this is just an assumption tho

Well batlin , people are fairly sure you can't gain dex from wrestling and considering i had a horse training from 6 am to 6 pm and it stayed extremely agile (anatomy check) the whole time and str went all the way up to 100, I would say that dex either doesn't work for pets or is broken here.

I wish there were some way it could be checked.
