I've scanned the lands for more than 7hrs+ and I can't find one spot for a large house with patio, not even the chance of a house decaying for a placement spot.. and it makes me wonder, how is this possible? Especially considering the majority of houses placed, if not a small house, are towers/castles, alot of em which seem completely dead and empty. I can only assume that alot of those empty houses belong to players who RARELY play on here, but just refresh their houses once a week, just to have that spot, without the consideration of static players NOW wanting a housespot (Larger house that is).

... Anyway, if I'm shit out of luck for a house spot unless I get lucky and find one collapsing, who will sell me a placed tower? Plz don't tell me like 10 mill + in gold!

You can buy a placed house for like 50k on top of deed, why waste time?

Also im sure there are spots. 7h, you wasted your time.

Like Felix said you can buy one pretty cheap. Check the housing forums. For a patio you should be able to get one for deed plus 25k. Towers usually go for deed plus 50-100k. Its not too bad. And there are house spots around too youre just not finding them.

Spots are there if you look.

agree with the above replies, I bought a tower in a very decent place near Vesper for deed + 40K. what I don't understand is why this is in the era accuracy forum...?

Especially because this WAS era accurate. There was no way you could even place a small back in the day. Also, why should players who spent the time as the shard launched earning their tower/castle/etc have to let it fall just cause they don't play as much? Without those early players the shard wouldn't be here at all....

i agree with felix, you really wasted 7 hours you could've spent farming. some people claim you should go look for housing spots, but the chance you'll find one vs the time it would've taken you to make the extra 20-40k is not worth it. you will find someone selling large bricks for deed +20k and L shapes for as little as deed +10

i'd rather leave the house placement to people who enjoy running around looking for decaying/decayed houses

There's a feeling of accomplishment when you place your own house versus buying one from someone else. Those of you who play the small game to acquire land for towers/keeps/castles know what I'm talking about.

I placed a tower earlier this week. Found an empty spot and placed two smalls in its place until I could afford the deed. Spots do exist for larger houses, you just have to have a little patience in some cases. No, the norm is not placing a large house within the first couple days of being on the server. Makes it worthwhile. Myself and two of my friends shared a small house until we built characters that could make some money reliably. What's wrong with a small to start?

Oh nice, I never actually checked to see if players so houses on here, expecially for reasonable prices. I did waste my time sadly... It's all good tho, now I know some useful information. Thanks guys.

Very untrue, there were tons of house spots on GL.

you kidding? i played on wakoku and there were no house spots there. it wasn't even a popular server to play, GL was always so full you couldn't even get in.

Agreed. I played on GL and I remember my brother buying a small for like 100k...and it was in the middle of nowhere, and had neighbors right on top of it. And that was a deal!

It's possible to find a spot, have patience and put on good music while you run around.

I have played here for like alittle over a year and I placed a small, then L shape. Then I placed a tower over my L shape later on.

The spots were clear! There are still spots like this but the world is bigger than you think!
