Nobody will sell a house for half the price of the deed because they can just take the deed back to the shop and get the full price back.

Many players will loan you a house to macro in, or until you can earn enough to afford your own.

Just keep working at it and within a few days you will have enough to buy a deed and go place a house yourself.

Also there are several guilds that help out newer players and will let you use their house for awhile til you get dried off behind those ears.
