Something I've noticed is that I don't seem to get any rings nor do I get any invis/teleport jewelry from SOSs when I am almost certain I was able to get all of them back in T2A.

T-maps are also lacking of these items, although I don't recollect how it was during era.

This is something that's bothered me too. Back in the day, I made most of my money via fishing and 99% of my magic items came from fishing up chests. I had plenty of invis/spell reflect jewelry along with with, yes, the boxes upon boxes of night eyes stuff. I've fished up maybe 40 SOS chests on this server, and still haven't seen any invis or reflect jewelry/clothes. Part of the reason I moved onto monster farming since fishing really isn't that great of gold per hour on its own.

from level 3-4s I have maybe gotten one or two tele/invis items. No MR yet, maybe my luck will be better with level 5s

I've fished a couple thousand MIBs (though none recently) and have never gotten a tele/reflect/invis item, and never a ring of any sort.

Rings were certainly in SOS chests though:
One in bottom left chest, one or two in bottom right chest.

Note that although this was archived in 2000, the fishing section existed as early as October of 1999 ("Sunken Treasure"):

This doesn't necessarily mean they were teleport though. The same page specifically mentions a ring of nighteyes ("Ring of Night Eyes - 48 ch") -- which doesn't spawn here?

Theres actually a lot of innacuracies in magic item loot. Armor could have charges (has been mentioned before), missing magic sashes and cloaks entirely, and completely missing magic bone armor (also brought up before -- theres actually a bone helm in the image linked above as SOS loot). I'm also pretty sure there shouldn't be magical orc helms, nose helms, or executioner's axes.

Less importantly, we're also missing reverses of plate helms, thigh boots, cloaks, chain tunics, etc., missing 3rd necklace graphic (one with the gem), and "a skullcap recovered from a shipwreck".

Reflect/invis jewellery seem to come from lvl 4 dungeon chests a lot more commonly then t maps. I get a lot of blessing items from tmaps though.

i second that. there were no magic orc helms for sure, cant be 100% positive on norse helms and exec axes though. armor had magic charges, i already brought this on these forums but we're yet to see that in production.

magic cloaks and sashes also took place. also, spawn chance of high end weapons/armor is quite high here, you would be lucky to get defense or guarding back in the era. fortification/invul were EXTREMELEY rare.

Katana of vanquishing would mean a lot back in time, here it sells for 5k tops. (that's why there were craploads of gm made weapons and armor and they actually were in high demand!) something is wrong here.

I've fished up about 10 SOS chests over the last few days and I've gotten 1 hat with invis charges and earrings with spell reflect - both with 25+ charges. I can't recall if I've found a ring or not of any sort - so those two do drop.

Of the hundreds of SOSs I've fished up, I've never gotten invis items :\

Invis/MR/Tele items are extremely rare from tmaps, but they can be found. The only ring I ever found from a tmap just happened to be a level 5 map, dunno if it's the only level that gives this drop. Invis/MR/Tele can be found in any level, but are very rare.

I have picked up a lot of these items from dungeon chests - rings especially.
