UO Second Age

Ive just started playing, been doing some reading and Im a bit confused about something. To make some money Ive been mining and its time to start selling some ore. From what I gather if I take too much ore from the bank I cant carry it and it will drop to the ground. When I make a trade with someone and they cancal it will the ore go back into the bank or into my pack and then to the ground?

Whats the safest way to make a trade of this type without taking a chance on losing my ore?

Both you and the recipient must be able to hold the item, or you can't trade it using a trade window.

Ingots weight 0.1 stone and large ore weights 12 stone -- so trade ingots unless the deal is for ore specifically. Should be able to trade 2k ingots at a time without issue.

When trading bulk (heavy) items, you can either break it up into ~300 stone quantities and make several trades (annoying, and often impractical), get a broker, or make sure there are no hiders/stealthers and trade on the ground while hoping they honor the trade.
