UO Second Age

Long story short I was pked outside Paupa. However, I was able to get to the edge of the guards zone and guard whack the pk. I hurried to the healer to rez and discovered that the Invuln Healer was not there, but the guildmaster was. After 2 mins of trying back and forth the healer guildmaster did not rez me.

So, question in short, if they are the guildmaster/mistress of healing....why can't they rez? lol

I'm pretty sure the Healer GM can rez just as good as the other healers. However, I know what you are talking about. There have been times that I have run into the healer (blue) wanting a rez but run around in circles like an idiot with nothing happening. A lot of times, this happens with 2 or 3 healers in there. It has happened in Brit, Ocllo, and Vesper.

I don't know if it's a bug or what. It is obnoxious.

What I ended up doing was running a couple screens away, then running back into the healer and then they rez me.

Yeah I tried the run a few screens and boomerang back method a couple times with no luck. Just seems to me that every time I've rezzed its the Invuln non-guildmaster that does the rezzing.

The door getting in the way is also a pain in some of the buildings, luckily they removed the Paupa one

You should be able to run through the door as a ghost.

The problem was with rezzing on the door, especially with one as small as Paupa. Fun stuff!

Wow, rezzing ON the door. Yeah, I guess that would be a problem. But as far as the problem with rezzing in general, unless someone else has anything to add, I'm gonna consider this a bug.

For the same reason that you can't buy regs from a Mage Guildmaster-

Namely, the Guildmaster of any "Professional Guild" is a master of his trade. He has taken on a "figurehead" role, and will generally perform more ceremonial tasks- for instance the opening of buildings, or the signing off of new guild rules and regulations. They generally leave the "hands-on" work to other, lesser, members of the Professional Guild.

Pretty much the same reason I can't get my Boss to make Coffee in the morning ...

It's Below there Pay Grade!

This happened to me in Ocllo before. Killed by monsters and when I go into the healers nothing happen. Then after a while they will rez me.
