UO Second Age

hi everyone

i arrived yesterday and found the info on the forums to buy skills up to 700 and then focus on stats.
Stats are nearly maxed out now, but skill gain is very slow in all 7 skills.

Does it take longer, the nearer it comes to skill cap? I know of a shard where this is the case, so i better ask experienced players.

What else could be my mistake? 7 skills point up, the others point down.

The easier something becomes, the less likely you are to gain from it. So yes, most skills take considerably longer at the end than at the beginning. This can be highly dependent on what skills were talking about though.

hes not talking about skills taking longer the closer they get to 100, hes talking about skills taking longer the closer you get to your skillcap.

to answer your question rescue, i'm quite sure skill gain doesnt change the closer you get to skill cap. the last server i played was like that, and i distinctly remember somebody telling me that its not the case here.

My mistake then. You are correct, it is not the case here.
