UO Second Age

so i just stumbled upon the stats for this shard, and i noticed that there is not even 1000 miners as upose to the like 7000 people with gm anatomy...this tells me there is no market for a gm BS and mining in this shard is this correct? is this a mostly pvp dominated shard with a small ecvonomy?

A lot of people use magic weapons/armour and many well established players have their own blacksmith if they need one. Ingots still sell very readily however.
