UO Second Age

I bought an oven deed and I'm trying to place it, but it just keeps saying that I can only place it in a house that I own. Well I'm on the owner of the house and it's still giving me this message. Has anyone had problems with this before?

are you using the actual owning character or another character on that account?

I think the problem might have been targeting the wall, as that may be considered outside the house. Also though, you can't put an oven in the first floor of a two story because it protrudes though the floor above ://

But the message should be different in that case.
