UO Second Age

Ok, lockpicking is at 74.4 real 75 shown. trying to open a gm tinkered box. Get a message "you dont see how that lock can be manipulated". Wiki says I cant gain from 50/50 tinkered chest anymore. Dex is at 10, been raising it to see if that helps. So far at 17 it doesnt. Any suggestions?

At 23 Dex my lockpicking jumped up to 75.9 and I was able to pick the gm tinkered lock.

Don't believe everything you read on the wiki... Did you try picking the 50/50 any further? The gm box is available at > 75 shown and I'm almost positive you can get to that mark on a 50/50 box.
