UO Second Age

I'm in my house, and an Ettin "acquires" me through the wall. He makes his angry yell. I hide, since he doesn't have Line of Sight. I begin cutting bandages.

He is now doing his yell CONSTANTLY. Like, once per second. And I'm not even sure he's still got me acquired, since he's walked away from where he'd stand if he wanted to be at the closest point to me.

But again... doing his yell constantly.

My dragons do this when I am hunting and there is a monster behind a wall that they know is there but can't get to. They just give their angry growl constantly.

Anyways, I was under the impression that they would make the noise once and that would be that.

I have not noticed this personally, but I usually play muted.

Maybe it's mating season for ettins.

This happens to me all the time also. They come stand at your wall and start screaming at you for attention. I usually give it in the form of a blade spirit, and go back to whatever I was doing. It's annoying as hell.
